So, while I’m not on here posting She-Ra porn , it’s the principle of the thing I have issues with. The idea of people in a position of power going after people with less power for the crime of creating art which hurts no one bit of which the powerful people disapprove is authoritarian and inimical both to the existence of fandom and of a flourishing artistic community.

staff You are recommending that I follow a nazi blog I blocked last night. Your site promotes anti-semitism to Jews. Your site shoves Nazi Swastikas in the faces of Jews. It’s bad enough that the Nazi blogs seem to be sprouting up like weeds on a site that claims to have an anti-hate policy, but to actively promote them to people who have taken the steps of blocking these blogs is beyond the pale. Clean this place up. It’s turning into Stormfront.

Welcome to the Plance Mini Bang, a fandom event centered around the relationship between Pidge and Lance! The results from the interest survey are in, and we’ve decided to get this started!
What is a Mini Bang? A Mini Bang is an event where writers that sign up will produce a fic of at least 5000 words and their artist partner will produce at least one piece of art for the fic. You can read about all the Rules and Requirements on the blog!
Writer sign-ups start soon (9 December 2018), so keep an eye out and be sure to follow @planceminibang for updates! Once you’re all signed up, we’ll send out a welcome email to invite you to a Discord server, and through Discord and email (or tumblr if you prefer) we’ll send you forms for all the check-ins!

Cuz I look at the tag often for the @find-me-at-x blog and at one point, there was 20 new post in one hour after that announcement. There was more traffic in the tag yesterday than there had been in PF’s entire existance and now there’s a gap from about 12 hours to 6 days ago. I haven’t dug through the DW or Twitter tag, but I wouldn’t be surprised to find the same garbage going on there, too.
Riiiiiiight. Ok. That’s the way to treat people when you want them to stay.
When the site becomes a ghost town in two weeks, this is why. Not because of the harrassment campaigns, or annoying porn bots spamming comments, or even the white nationalists and TERFs who ruin people’s lives–although that certainly makes it easier to walk away and purge this account for good once I’m through backing up my posts. No, it’s the obvious lack of fucks given about this company or the users here, the ones who have reported these issues for months. No site should be told to clean up goddamn CP. Fucking Christ, do I even need to explain why? (Here’s a hint: the wrong answer is “because Apple will boot us off the store if we don’t)
And you certainly shouldn’t be punishing the 99 percent of your userbase who wasn’t engaging in this for your incompetence.

tumblr being incompetent is nothing new and is basically a walking joke at this point ( their own post about banning adult content got flagged itself)
When been telling and reporting to tumblr about blogs posting/rebloggin CP they go silent up until their money is messed with ( Apple removed them from the store) And now staff had the BRILLIANT idea to just rid ALL nsfw blogs. Because Tiddies is totally the reason that got tumblr in trouble in first place -_-
And as per usual the real problem is still walking around Scott free while many artists and workers are losing their source of income.
The most frustrating thing about tumblr is half of the guidelines their issuing was already resolved. Safe Search and Blacklist tool. Most of people using tumblr is 18+ but hey this kids zone now (not that’s a bad thing) but my god.
There’s so many better ways to fix the issue yet Tumblr is choosing the worst one.
